FCSO Deputies Arrest Suspect in Weekend Assault
SUBJECT:James Kyle Huneycutt, Jr., age 21, of 308 East Jackson Street, Lamar, SC 29069 was arrested by Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on August 13, 2014 and charged with Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature (S.C. Code Section 16-3-600(B)(1)). See FCSO Booking Website for additional information.
NARRATIVE: Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance of U.S. Marshals Service Task Force Officers arrested James Kyle Huneycutt, Jr. yesterday in connection with a weekend assault. According to Investigators, on or about August 9, 2014 Huneycutt is alleged to have assaulted the victim at a night club located at 1523West Lucas Street, Florence, SC resulting in serious injury to the victim requiring extensive emergency medical treatment at an area hospital. No further information on the condition of the victim is available at this time.
Under South Carolina law, Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature is a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison. Earlier today, a Florence County Magistrate denied Huneycutt a bond.
