FCSO ARRESTS PACKAGE THEFT SUSPECT


SUBJECT: Timothy Wayne Beasley, Jr., age 36, of 258 Limestone Road, Orangeburg, SC 29118 was arrested on Friday, July 19, 2019 by Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and charged with 4 counts of Larceny (S.C. Code Ann. 16-13-030(A)). See FCSO Booking Website for additional details.

NARRATIVE: Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Timothy Wayne Beasley on Friday, July 19, 2019 and charged him with four counts of simple larceny ($2000.00 or less) in connection with the theft of packages a various residences in Florence County. According to Investigators, Beasley is alleged to have taken delivered packages from residences on Westbrook Drive, Monterey Drive and Trotter Road in Florence County without the owner’s consent. Investigators state that Beasley was identified by surveillance video at or near these residences.

Beasley was released from the Florence County Detention Center earlier today on a $6000.00 surety bond. Beasley was also wanted by the City of Florence Police Department on a Burglary warrant.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
