Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sherrif’s Office executed a search warrant earlier today at 915 Alligator Road, Effingham, SC. As a result, two suspects were taken into custody and a sizable quantity of narcotics were seized. According to Investigators, the search warrant yielded heroin, Cocaine, Ecstasy, methamphetamine, crack cocaine and other narcotics. In addition, two rifles, two handguns and an undetermined amount of US currency were recovered.

According to Investigators, during the service of the search warrant, a suspect inside the residence fired a shot from a rifle at deputies who were outside. No deputies were struck by gunfire, and no deputies returned fire. Two suspects inside the residence were taken into custody a short time later without incident.

Frank O’Bryon Toney, age 34, of 1964 Back Swamp Road, Lynchburg, SC and Anthony Nashawn Williams, age 27 of 1916 Back Swamp Road, Lynchburg, SC were taken into custody and will face charges related to this incident. In addition to the narcotics related charges, Toney has also been charged with 2 counts of Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon during the commission of a Crime. Both subjects will be held at the Florence County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.

FCSO Special Operations Division Special Response Team (SRT) assisted in the service of the search warrant. The investigation into this matter is ongoing and additional charges and arrests are possible.
