FCSO ARRESTS THREE ON BURGLARY CHARGES
SUBJECT: George Martin Owens, III, age 27, of 5605 Goose Pond Road, Gresham, SC 29546 was arrested by Florence County Sheriff’s Office Investigators on April 30, 2019 and charged with one count of Burglary, First Degree (S.C. Code Ann. 16-11-311). See FCSO Booking Website for additional details.
SUBJECT: Ethan Shane Ard, age 20, of 419 Sandy Lane Drive, Johnsonville, SC 29555 was arrested by Florence County Sheriff’s Office Investigators on April 18, 2019 and charged with one count of Burglary, First Degree (S.C. Code Ann. 16-11-311). See FCSO Booking Website for additional details.
SUBJECT: Dustin Tyler Shipley, age 22, of 2227 Hanna Lake Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555 was arrested by Florence County Sheriff’s Office Investigators on April 30, 2019 and charged with one count of Burglary, First Degree (S.C. Code Ann. 16-11-311). See FCSO Booking Website for additional details.
NARRATIVE: Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office have arrested three suspects and charged them each with one count of Burglary, First Degree. Investigators allege that on or about April 16, 2019 the suspects broke into a home on Sandy Lane Drive, Johnsonville, SC and while inside stole seven (7) firearms. George Martin Owens, Ethan Shane Ard and Dustin Tyler Shipley have been arrested in connection with the incident. In addition, Ard is charged with two (2) counts of Breaking into Motor Vehicles. All three (3) suspects are being held at the Florence County Detention Center. Shipley and Owens are awaiting a bond hearing. Ard was denied bond.
