FCSO MAKES ARREST FOR DRUGS AFTER VEHICLE STOP


SUBJECT: Jukelvin Laquan Rhahi Williams, age 26, of 136 Bacote Street, Darlington, SC 29532 was arrested on November 29, 2018 by deputies with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and was charged with Trafficking in MDMA or Ecstasy (S.C. Code Ann. 44-53-370(e)(8)(a)(i), Trafficking in Cocaine Base (S.C. Code Ann. 44-53-375(C)(1)(a) and Possession of Marijuana (S.C. Code Ann. 44-53-370(b)(2)). NARRATIVE: On November 28, 2018 on Lucas Street in Florence, SC a FCSO deputy assigned to the Criminal Enforcement Unit (CEU) initiated a traffic stop for a moving violation. Upon approaching the vehicle the deputy noted the strong odor of marijuana. Following a probable cause search of the vehicle, deputies found a large quantity of narcotics, specifically, approximately 100 grams of marijuana, approximately 10 grams of crack cocaine and over 100 dosage units of MDMA or Ecstasy.

Deputies charged Jukelvin Laquan Rhahi Williams, the sole occupant of the vehicle with Trafficking in MDMA, Trafficking in Cocaine Base and Possession of Marijuana. Williams is being held at the Florence County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
