South Carolina Department of Corrections advises that a Palmer Pre-Release Center inmate walked away from the minimum level security facility located in Florence County at approximately 4:29 AM on Sunday, October 21, 2018. Authorities are looking for Layquan Patrick Hanley, age 27 who was serving a sentence for kidnapping. Hanley is described as a black male, with black hair, brown eyes, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 156 pounds with a tattoo on his right arm which reads “Layquan.” (Photographs will be available by separate email, on FCSO Facebook page or FCSO app)
