DEPLOYING SOLDIER HONORS FLORENCE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES
On behalf of all of the deputies and employees of the Florence County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff Kenney Boone received a commemorative badge from U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Lucas Anku just prior to returning to a deployment. “I really appreciate your guys. You don’t get the respect you deserve for all you do”, Anku stated. As he prepares to redeploy, Anku indicated that he knows his family will be safe while he is away.
“This gesture means the world to me personally, and all of our deputies and employees”, Sheriff Kenney Boone stated. “We will find a prominent place in the Law Enforcement Complex to display this beautiful gift.”
Anku, a native of Ghana, West Africa is returning to a military/humanitarian relief deployment in Honduras.
