FCSO INVESTIGATES BOMB THREAT
At approximately 2:00 PM today, Florence County Central Dispatch received a non-specific telephone bomb threat to “Florence County.” Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the threat and attempting to locate the caller. At this time Investigators have no evidence of a threat to any specific location in Florence County, but major businesses, public offices, government and school facilities and the general public are asked to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity or objects and to immediately report the same to the nearest law enforcement agency or officer. These are the same precautions which the public is asked to observe without a stated threat.
