FCSO MAKES ARRESTS DRUG DISTRIBUTION CASE
SUBJECT: Jason Rashaad Jones, age 36, of 314 Hickory Street, Darlington, SC 29532 was arrested by Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on April 19, 2018 and charged Distribution of Cocaine Base, Third or Subsequent Offense (S.C. Ann. 44-53-375(B)(3)), Possession of Cocaine, First Offense (S.C. Code Ann. 44-53-370(d)(3)), Possession of Methamphetamine or Cocaine Base, First Offense (S.C. Code Ann. 44-53-375(A), Trafficking in Methamphetamine or Cocaine Base, First Offense (S.C. Code Ann. 44-53-375 (C)(1)(a)), Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin, First Offense, (S.C. SUBJECT: Latasha Nicole Black, age 33, 421 Johns Street, Florence, SC, 29506 was arrested by Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on April 19, 2018 and was charged with Possession of Cocaine Base, (S.C. Code Ann. 44-53-375(A)), Possession of Cocaine, First Offense (S.C.. Code Ann. 44-53-370(d)(3), Trafficking in Methamphetamine or Cocaine Base (S.C. Code ann. 44-53-375(C)(1)(a)), Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin, First Offense (S.C. Code Ann. 44-53-370(b)(1), Possession of MDMA, First Offense (S.C. Code Ann. 44-53-370(d)(2) . NARRATIVE: On Thursday, April 19, 2018, following a one month undercover investigation, Florence County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators, assisted by the FCSO SWAT Team executed a “No Knock” search warrant on a room at a local motel on US Highway 52 North near the intersection of Interstate 95. As a result of the search Investigators found quantities of crack cocaine, cocaine, heroin, crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy, and marijuana. Jason Rashaad Jones and Latasha Nicole Black were charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Crack Cocaine, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent ot Distribute Heroin and Possession of MDMA (ecstasy). Jones was also charged with Distribution of Crack Cocaine, third offense.
Jones and Black are being held at the Florence County Detention Center on surety bonds of $29,000.00 and $35,000.00 respectively.
