FCSO MAKES ARRESTS IN SEXUAL ASSAULT CASE


SUBJECT: Quinton James Folk, age 22, of 145 Kinard Lane, Hampton, SC 29924 was arrested by Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on April 16, 2018 and charged with one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct, Third Degree (S.C. SUBJECT: Malik Laquan Chestnut, age 23, of 328 Ballfield Road, Apt. 2A, Camden, SC 29020 was arrested by Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on April 16, 2018 and was charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct, Third Degree (S.C. SUBJECT: Jaylen Deandre Still, age 23, of 4711 Patriot Lane Apartments, Florence, SC 29505 was arrested by Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on April 14, 2018 and charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct, Third Degree (S.C. SUBJECT: Marshevis Devaughnu Ellington, Jr., age 21, of 21 Kennebeck Court, Columbia, SC 29222 was arrested by Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on April 16, 2018 and charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct, Third Degree (S.C. NARRATIVE: FCSO Investigators arrested four suspects in connection with an alleged sexual assault. According to Investigators, on or about March 28, 2018 the victim alleged she was sexually assaulted several times while mentally incapacitated due to alcohol intoxication. The incident is alleged to have occurred at 4711 Patriot Lane Apartments in Florence County.

Quinton James Folk, Malik Laquan Chestnut, Jaylen Deondre Still and Marshevis Devaughnu Ellington, Jr. have all been charged with Criminal Sexual Misconduct, Third Degree. Still has been released from the Florence County Detention Center on a $10,000.00 surety bond. Folk and Chestnut were released on a $5,000.00 surety bond. A bond hearing for Ellington will be held later today. As the investigation continues, additional arrests are possible
