Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office arrested one of its civilian employees earlier today and charged her with Sexual Misconduct With an Inmate(S.C. Code Ann. 44-23-1150).According to Investigators, Jennifer Renee Allen, age 33, a Fiscal Technician with FCSO is alleged to have engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a FCDC work release inmate after business hours. Ms. Allen’s employment has been terminated.
“Its a privilege to work in law enforcement, whether sworn or civilian,” Chief Glen Kirby stated. “But to maintain the public trust we are held to a high standard of conduct.”
