SUSPECT IN ARMED ROBBERY IN CUSTODY
SUBJECT: Dwight Alonso Littles, Jr., age 28, of 822 Ripley Station, Hartsville, SC 29550 has been charged by Investigators with the Florence county Sheriff’s Office with one count of Armed Robbery (S.C. Code Ann. 16-11-330(A)).
NARRATIVE: Florence County Deputies responded to a call of an apparent armed robbery on November 24, 2017 at the Murphy Gas Station and Convenience Store on Loop Road in Lake City, SC at approximately 5:45 AM. According to Investigators, the suspect entered the store and threatened the clerk with a gun and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene. Video surveillance in the store captured the incident and images of the suspect were released to the media shortly thereafter.
Based in part on citizen information, Investigators have now identified and charged Dwight Alonso Littles, Jr. with one count of Armed Robbery While Armed with a Deadly Weapon. After this incident, Littles was taken into custody for an alleged unrelated offense in Williamsburg County and will be arraigned in Florence County in the future.
