FLORENCE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEEDS YOUR HELP IN IDENTIFYING A SUSPECT


Florence County Sheriff’s Investigators need your help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery investigation. According to Investigators, on or about August 27, 2017 at approximately 2:00 AM the Coward Truck Stop located on U.S. Highway 52 in Coward, SC was robbed by a man who threatened the store clerk with a knife. The suspect is described as a white male with a goatee. The suspect is shown in the attached photograph taken from in-store video surveillance wearing blue jeans, white T-shirt and a black Boston White Sox hat. This person left the scene driving a black in color PT Cruiser.

Investigators would also like to speak with another person who was in the store at about the time of the robbery and may have spoken to the suspect. This person is also shown on video surveillance and left the scene driving a white in color Chevrolet Impala with a sun roof.
