Florence County Sheriff's Office and the Florence County Coroner's Office are investigating a fatal shooting which occurred on Handy Lane, Florence, SC on August 17, 2017. FCSO deputies responded to a call of a shooting at the location at approximately 9:14 PM. One victim was transported to an area hospital where the victim was pronounced dead. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. Another victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound. No additional information on the condition of this victim is available at this time.
