SUBJECT: William Anthony Floyd, age 27, of 1713 Sharon Road, Florence, SC was arrested by deputies with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on March 29, 2017 and charged with one count of Burglary, Second Degree (S.C. NARRATIVE: Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office have arrested William Anthony Floyd following a manhunt in the Pamplico area yesterday. According to Investigators, Floyd was wanted in connection with an alleged burglary when he fled into a wooded area between Hyman Road and Blackstreet Road near Pamplico, SC. After a manhunt involving FCSO Canine Tracking Team, FCSO Aviation Unit, S.C. Highway Patrol and S.C. Department of Natural Resources, Floyd was taken into custody at approximately 10:00 PM.
FCSO Investigators have charged Floyd with Burglary, Second Degree and Use of Vehicle Without Owner Permission. Other jurisdictions may have additional charges.
