FCSO AND FLORENCE CORONER INVESTIGATE CHILD DEATH
Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and the Florence County Coroner’s Office are investigating the death of a 10 month old Florence child. Shortly after noon on March 22, 2017 FCSO Deputies responded to a call of an unresponsive child on Candy Lane, Florence, SC. The child was transported to an area hospital where it was later pronounced dead. Coroner Keith VonLutcken ordered an autopsy be performed at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
