Florence County Sheriff's Office and the Florence County Coroner's Office are investigating the discovery of a body at 637 South Jeffords Street, Florence, SC earlier this evening. The Coroners Office is sending the body for an autopsy at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. The investigation into this matter is ongoing and additional information will be released when available.
