FCSO INVESTIGATES STABBING INCIDENT

NARRATIVE:    Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an alleged stabbing incident which occurred earlier today in the early morning hours at 1209 Old Mars Bluff Road in Florence, SC.  Deputies were called to the scene at approximately 02:45 hours and upon arrival discovered the victim who had sustained serious stab wounds.  The victim was transported by EMS to an area hospital for emergency treatment of the wounds.  No further information on the condition of the victim is available at this time.

Investigators have obtained an arrest warrant for Concepscion Carmela Robinson in connection with the incident.  Robinson is described as a 34 year old black female, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 136 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes (see attached photograph).

SUPPLEMENTAL PRESS RELEASE

Concepscion Carmela Robinson, wanted by FCSO Investigators in connection with a stabbing incident, has been taken into custody. Investigators allege that Robinson stabbed the victim at 1209 Old Mars Bluff Road in Florence, SC causing a significant injury to the victim who has been undergoing treatment for stab wounds at an area hospital.  Investigators have charged Robinson with Assault and Battery, First Degree (S.C. Code Ann. 16-03-60(C)(1)).  No additional information on the condition of the victim is available at this time.

Robinson is being held at the Florence County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.  Under South Carolina law, Assault and Battery, First Degree is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
