NARRATIVE:    At approximately 9:00 AM on Thursday, December 15, 2016, deputies with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a suspected stolen vehicle on South Irby Street near Third Loop Road.  The operator of the 2013 Nissan Frontier, Domerious Deon Allsbrooks refused to stop for the blue lights and led deputies on a pursuit in a northerly direction on Irby Street.  The suspect vehicle then collided with three other vehicles near the intersection of Irby Street and Second Loop Road.  After the collision, Allsbrooks fled on foot and was apprehended a short time later on Church Street following a brief manhunt.  A second suspect, Aundrea Michelle Herbert, a passenger who remained in the vehicle, was taken into custody at the scene of the collision. No FCSO vehicles were involved in the collision.

Investigators have charged Allsbrooks with Failure to Stop for a Blue Light, three counts of Malicious Injury to Personal Property, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle,
Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Convicted Felon and two counts of burglary.    Herbert has been charged with Burglary and Receiving Stolen Goods.

Prior to this incident, FCSO Investigators had obtained warrants against Allsbrooks and Herbert for burglary.  The investigation into this matter is ongoing by FCSO and other agencies and additional charges are possible.
