FCSO INVESTIGATES POSSIBLE INTERNET THREAT TO PRIVATE SCHOOL
Deputies with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office responded to Florence Christian School located at 2308 South Irby Street, Florence, SC earlier today following a receipt of a possible threat against the school via the internet. FCSO Special Operations assets were deployed to the school within minutes of the alleged threat while FCSO Investigators focused on the source.
School Officials implemented standing security measures and notified parents accordingly. The school schedule did not change.
Investigators have determined that there was no specific credible threat to the school, and no charges are anticipated at this time.
