FCSO INVESTIGATING HOMICIDE IN TIMMONSVILLE

Florence County Sheriff's Office and the Florence County Coroner's Office are investigating an apparent homicide which occurred on November 18, 2016 in Timmonsville, SC. According to FCSO Investigators one victim was shot at BJ's Lounge which is located at 804 N. Brockington Street at around 11:30 PM last evening. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of a gunshot wound. The Florence County Coroner's Office will release the identity of the victim.

Investigators, working through the night have issued arrest warrants for John Wesley Hicks, Jr. of 5410 Trinity Road, Lynchburg, SC and Roderick Commander of 115 Timmons Street, Lynchburg, SC who are wanted in connection to the incident. Commander has been taken into custody, but Hicks remains at large. Hicks is described as a black male, age 24, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Hicks should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
