FCSO MAKES ARREST IN CSC WITH MINOR CASE
SUBJECT: Shannta Devon Fields, age 23 of 1998 West Kirby Drive, Florence, SC 29501 was arrested by Florence County Sheriff’s Office Investigators on August 25, 2016 and charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct With a Minor, First Degree (Victim under 11 years of age)(S.C. NARRATIVE: Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Shannta Devon Fields on August 25, 2016 and charged him with Criminal Sexual Conduct With a Minor (Victim under 11 years of age). According to Investigators, between the dates of August 6-8, 2016, Fields is alleged to have committed a sexual battery on a nine (9) year old victim. The incident allegedly occurred at Field’s home.
Under South Carolina law Criminal Sexual Conduct With a Minor (First Degree) is a felony punishable by between 25 years and life in prison. Fields is being held at the Florence County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing before a circuit court judge.
