NARCOTICS INVESTIGATORS MAKE DRUG ARREST
SUBJECT: Johnathan Edward Windham, age 34, of 1203 Furches Avenue, Apartment A, Florence, SC 29505 was arrested by Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on July 19, 2016 and charged him with Possession of Cocaine, first offense (S.C. Code Ann. 44-53-370(D)(3)), two counts of Possession of Controlled Substances with Intent to Distribute (S.C. Code Ann. 44-53-390), Attempt to Purchase Controlled Substances (S.C. Code Ann. 44-53-420), and Possession of Stolen Handgun (S.C. Code Ann. 16-23-030) . See FCSO Booking Website for additional information.
NARRATIVE: Specially trained Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Johnathan Edward Windham on July 19, 2016 and charged him with Possession of Cocaine, two counts of Possession of Controlled Substances with Intent to Distribute, Attempt to Purchase Controlled Substances and Possession of Stolen Handgun. According to Investigators, on or about July 19, 2016 Windham is alleged to have purchased or attempted to purchase a quantity of drugs and controlled substances from an undercover narcotics officer. In addition, Windham is alleged to have been in possession of a stolen handgun at the time of his arrest.
Windham was released from the Florence County Detention Center on July 20, 2016 on surety bonds amounting to $8,000.00.
