FCSO INVESTIGATES SHOOTING

Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting incident which occurred early Sunday morning and sent three victims to the hospital. According to Investigators, deputies received a call of a shooting at approximately 1:00 AM on June 5, 2016 at 2351 Red Doe Road, Florence, SC which is located off of Francis Marion Road. Witnesses tell Investigators that there was a large gathering at the location and at some point a fight broke out, after which one suspect is believed to have obtained a handgun and began shooting. Three victims are known to have received gunshot wounds and are being treated at area hospitals.

Investigators are attempting to obtain the identity or description of the shooter.
