FCSO NEEDS HELP IN IDENTIFYING A SUSPECT

Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office need your help in identifying a person of interest in a series of vehicle break-ins in the Grove Park and Windsor Forest areas. Residents have reported items stolen out of unlocked vehicles and Investigators have obtained a photograph of a possible suspect.

Anyone with knowledge or information regarding the identity of the person shown in the attached surveillance photographs is asked to contact FCSO Investigators at (843) 665-2121, ext. 375 or Crime Stoppers of the Pee Dee at 1-888-CRIME-SC. You do not have to reveal your identity to leave information.

Residents are again reminded that the best way to avoid becoming a victim of vehicle break-in is to remove any valuable items from their vehicles overnight, including money (even coins), electronics, jewelry and especially firearms. We also urge residents to lock their vehicles. Most of the recent thefts have involved unlocked vehicles which do not require breaking in to enter.
