FCDC EMPLOYEE CHARGED WITH MISCONDUCT IN OFFICE
SUBJECT: Bridgette Yvonne Jackson, age 31, of 7208 Fork Road, Effingham, SC 29541 was arrested on February 11, 2016 by Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Misconduct in Office (S.C. Code Ann. 17-25-030)). See FCSO Booking Website for additional details.
NARRATIVE: FCSO Investigators arrested an employee at the Florence County Detention Center and charged her with Misconduct in Office. According to Investigators, during the months of January and February of 2016, Bridgett Yvonne Jackson, a corrections officer with FCDC is alleged to have knowingly and intentionally entered into an inappropriate relationship with an inmate at the Florence County Detention Center.
Jackson was booked into the Florence County Detention Center and released on a $5000.00 personal recognizance bond set by a Florence County Magistrate. Jackson’s employment with FCDC has been terminated.
