The CARE (Child Abuse Resource and Evaluation) House of the Pee Dee is child advocacy center established to provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team response to suspected or reported cases of child abuse. Services to children who are maltreated will be conducted in a child- friendly setting aimed at making the assessment experience non-traumatic for the child. Dedicated professionals from Law Enforcement, Social Services, the Solicitor?s Office and the Medical Arena will collaborate services to ensure the safety and well-being of the maltreated child.

The CARE House is a private nonprofit organization established for the purpose of providing a new beginning for maltreated children in the Pee Dee.

                        The CARE House Staff is comprised of the following:

                                          Pediatric Nurse Practitioner 
                                                Medical Assistant 
                                            Administrative director
                                                 Medical Director
                                              Licensed Therapist

Motto
The motto of The CARE House is A House of Help. Hope and Healing. The services provided at The CARE House will facilitate the collaboration of the multidisciplinary team in the effort to protect and achieve positive outcomes in the life of every victimized child served. The goal of The CARE House and the Multidisciplinary Team is to provide a safer community for children in the Pee Dee area.

The CARE House is openMonday through Friday 8a.m  5p.m. 
After hour emergency services available.

The CARE House is located at the corner of Second Loop and Patton across from First Citizens Bank and next door to First Choice Health Care.
