The FCSO Courtroom Security Unit - part of the Patrol Division,  provides courtroom security in order to protect the lives and welfare of County judges, staff, jurors, and the public; plus, transport jurors and witnesses to and from court, and prisoners and psychiatric patients to various locations as needed. Along with Courtroom Security Division's normal duties, they also perform general law enforcement duties to ensure the strict enforcement of state and local laws relating to public safety.
