The Sheriff's Office Coordinator, Katherine McCain, plays a crucial role in the day to day operation of the Florence County Sheriff's Office. Katherine McCain is responsible for the management and maintenance of all human resources functions for the Sheriff's Office and Detention Center. In addition, Mrs. McCain performs various administrative duties associated with maintaining accurate narcotics monies accounts, as well as other accounts.

Mrs. McCain  coordinates activities accordingly with the County Human Resources department. Coordinates the advertising and recruitment efforts for all law enforcement vacancies within the Sheriff's Office and Detention Center.

The Office Coordinator ensures compliance with all applicable policies and procedures, County codes and ordinances, and State and Federal law.
