 The Florence County Sheriff's Office Impound Vehicle Lot is located across from the Law Enforcement Complex in Effingham, SC. The Impound lot is supervised by Impound Officer Hank Prosser, who maintains the Sheriff's Office impound lot for the purpose of storing vehicles and property. Duties include towing vehicles, logging in and out vehicles and property confiscated or recovered by department officers. He also ensures the security of the vehicles and property. In addition the impound officer maintains the grounds of the FCSO firing range, and supervises the daily activities of assigned inmate workers.
