The body of a woman found tied up inside an apartment with her uterus cut open has been tentatively identified, the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, Medical Examiner's office tells CNN. The apartment belonged to another woman who arrived at a hospital with a newborn infant earlier in the week.
Sen. Barack Obama met with Afghan President Hamid Karzai today as part of a tour aimed at boosting his foreign policy credentials. In the past, Obama has criticized Karzai for not doing enough to rebuild his war-torn country. Before the meeting, Obama had breakfast with troops at a U.S. base in Kabul, Afghanistan.
