Authorities say a large tornado has touched down in northern Colorado, overturning trucks and damaging buildings. Weld County sheriff's spokeswoman Margie Martinez says two tractor-trailer rigs overturned about 10 miles southeast of Windsor, and electricity was knocked out to some customers in nearby Greeley.
An appeals court ruled today that the state of Texas should not have seized hundreds of children from a polygamist sect. Earlier this year, authorities raided the Yearning for Zion ranch in Eldorado, Texas, after they received reports of child abuse. About 460 children were taken from the ranch.
