I love the site...I think it is important to note that an arrest only occurs after probable cause has been
established...most arrests occur after a deputy obtains a warrant signed by a neutral and detached magistrate
who has evaluated the warrant for the existence of probable cause....warrantless arrests occur when the
offense is committed in the presence of the arresting officer....for those that think the folks appearing on
this site are innocent, you should bail them out and let 'em move in with you |

This is a very poor site I think that this is an invasion of privacy. What ever happen to innocent until
proven guilty. It is very dangerous to put people on here with there addresses I mean there is alot of young
girls on here yeah they may have made a mistake put give them a chance to get on with there life and some of
them are innocent put this is a very convenient way for some old nasty person to rape some young girl because
fcso had to put the pic and address on here maybe you all need to revise this and think about what you are
doing |

 I feel as though FCSO has overstepped their boundries on an invasion of privacy. It is very concerning
that you are posting pictures of young females that have not been convicted of the arrest, along with their
name and address, so that by chance, the arrest becomes unfounded, and was prosecuted because of vindiction,
now, 17 through 21 year old young ladies can be stalked. I think you need to decide if a misdemeanor is worthy
of your publicity. Even if it is not an invasion of privacy by law it is morally and ethically wrong to use a
photogragh and an address so that someone who has not been convicted can be stalked. Apparently, FCSO feels
that there are no mistakes in life. In all sincerity, I hope that none of you ever have the pain of seeing
someone you care about on here, and for those of you who think it can't happen to you or a loved one, you
may someday be looking at your own picture on here. |

The Freedom
Of Information Act (FOIA), and pariticularly, S.C. Code of Laws Section 30-4-30 apply.
SECTION 30-4-30.
Right to inspect or copy public records; fees; notification as to public availability of records; presumption
upon failure to give notice; records to be available when requestor appears in person.
(a) Any person has
a right to inspect or copy any public record of a public body, except as otherwise provided by Section
30-4-40, in accordance with reasonable rules concerning time and place of access.
The website merely
provides the information we are otherwise obligated to provide.
As far as the final disposition of
charges, the clerk of court (if it is a general sessions charge) and the custodians of magistrate and
municipal court records have that information and we do not have immediate access to it.

I love the new website. I agree with the innocent until proven guilty, but with the mugshots it is nice to
see the persons pic. Obviously they had to be breaking the law to be on the site to begin with. Keep up the

I think the web site is great and I think that the pictures help out alot especially with law enforcement
because they can see the people too. I would like help more with warrants and how we the puplic can turn in
those who we suspect of doing illegal things especially drugs. Keep up the good work. |

I think there needs to be a place on the website where users can see exactly what a charge really means to

I think is invasion of people's privacy and some have not even been tried and some are young people
trying to make a future for themselve and even if they won't to have there record sponged to move on with
life if they are innocent this is a very poor site due to the law enforcment you are giving pic, addresses to
some crazy people that are really sick and don't care about the law all they have to do is look at the
pic, address, age and if there parents arent home where do you go from there a 17 year old is a minor |
