Detainer Lashon Davis, of 311 Liberty Street,

Johnsonville, SC, wanted in connection with the September 30, 2009

Shooting on Liberty Street in Johnsonville was taken into custody today

when he turned himself in to Investigators with the Florence County

Sheriff’s Office.  The arrest warrants allege that Davis shot the victim, the

mother of his five children, multiple times as the victim lay on the ground.

The Sheriff’s Office issued a Press Release on Friday, October 9, 2009

seeking the public assistance in locating Davis. The victim has been

receiving treatment for gunshot wounds at an area hospital.  As of this Press

Release, Davis was being held at the Florence County Detention Center

awaiting a bond hearing.
